COVID-19 SAFETY
Flower City Pickers wants to thank all the volunteers, organizations, and donors who have helped us navigate the COVID pandemic. We are all experiencing fatigue from constant prolonged vigilance and missing social interactions with our friends and family.
We are hopeful that as the number of people who are vaccinated increases, we can return to a more robust volunteer group for our operations. Until then, we will continue to limit the total number of volunteers.
Please continue to check back as Spring approaches and we hope more opportunities open up to help our neighbors.
Always remember to give us a call or check-in if you have any questions or concerns.
Stay safe.
COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
We have several safety measures in place to protect our volunteers and our agencies that receive food. A safety briefing will be conducted prior to anyone volunteering with us. Please help us stay safe!
We continue to follow state and local COVID-19 guidelines for the safety of our volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to wear a mask inside or outside the building.
If you are feeling ill, or have been around someone who is ill, please do not volunteer.
Do not bring or invite anyone who is not signed up to volunteer.
FCP is committed to keeping people safe while trying to serve those in need. Fewer people in our work area means less chance of spread or exposure.
We ask that you wash your hands frequently and anytime you have touched your face or your mask.
We no longer allow walk-up volunteers.
