Flower City Pickers is truly grateful for the time and energy our Volunteers have given to help serve our community. In 2020, we diverted over 180,000 lbs of food from landfills.

90 TONS OF FOOD!

WE CAN’T DO THIS WITHOUT OUR VOLUNTEERS

We have logged over 2,000 hours of volunteer time - time that is valuable!
The pandemic has created challenges to every aspect of our lives, but with the help of all the fabulous volunteers like you, we were able to restructure our operations in order to provide fruits and vegetables to our local community organizations for distribution.

Just let that sink in - you helped keep 90 TONS of food from going to waste. That's HUGE ROCHESTER!

If you have helped sort produce or bread at the Rochester Public Market, helped to divide up donations from Headwater, set up tables and tents, delivered shares to our partner organizations, made calls, collected data or any other of the many tasks we have - THANK YOU! WE CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT THE STRONG SUPPORT FROM OUR VOLUNTEERS.
